They’re popular. But, why? Do you really need to pay so much for a stroller? SitterFinder.com decided to find out the story behind what makes a mom pay so much for a stroller.

Bugaboo lovers say that it does great things form them: it transforms from a single, to a double, back to a single stroller! There is even side storage! It can carry a toddler or babies, has cup holders, wheels for multiple terrains, and more! Hearing all this reminds me of luxury car commercials that tout stylish interiors and cool features.
Regardless of why, it’s pretty clear that his stroller is popular. The stroller is hot everywhere: The Daily Mail reports that the Bugaboo Donkey stroller has sold out before even going on sale!
On the other side, people say that it is way overpriced and that people simply buy it as a status symbol; saying that $100 strollers do the same things: they push your kids and carry your things. Some say it lasts and lasts, so it’s worth paying for. But, one commenter retorted “unless you’re planning on having about 10 kids, you’re really not going to get $1500 worth of use for this…they’re not little for that long.”
And so the controversy continues. But, what is interesting is that even though it may be a status symbol, some people say that its justified. New mothers want to make friends and what you wear, how you look, even what stroller you use changes how people perceive you when, for example, you go to the park. One friend of mine told me that it makes all the difference when meeting new people. It’s almost like a key to becoming friends with a different crowd.
It really made me wonder though, if I need such a key, is that really how I want to make friends? My friend argues back that we all make these judgement decisions. For example, how many people do you know use the wrong bag, such as a whole foods bag, to take their food to work? It’s not because the bag is better. It’s because of how it is perceived. The question I have for my readers is “Would you perceive these people differently, positively or negatively, based on the things they use, such as a whole foods bag or a bugaboo?” I would be very interested to hear from you!

At Sitterfinder.com we all know that the hunt for the perfect babysitter for your loved one can potentially be challenging. Making the choice to use an online babysitter service is one of the best steps that you can take to ensure that the process of finding a babysitter is a smooth one. Be that as it may, deciding to use and online sitter service is only the initial step in securing a wonderful partnership with your new babysitter. Some of the other things to consider before starting your search for a babysitter include you creating a list of what you want and don’t want for your sitter match.
The best way that I have found to create your wants list is to start by listing all of the things that you do not want in a babysitter. Focus only on those things that you have deemed and absolute no, no for a babysitter. Your list may start a little like this...
I don’t want to pay $1,000.00 per week for a babysitter.
I don’t want my babysitter to sit in the house all day.
I don’t want my babysitter to be very serious.
After you have weeded out your do not want list you can then begin to create a new list of the things that you highly desire in a babysitter. Based on the previous list your new list would look a little like this...
My budget for a new babysitter is under $1,000.00 per week.
I want a babysitter that enjoys the outdoors and will take the kids to the park.
I want my sitter to be able to have fun and help create a joyous environment for the kids.
Whatever the option you choose know that you have the power in your hands to command what you want in a babysitter at Sitterfinder.com .
